Function Rooms Melbourne

Creativity, experience and attention to detail, a function at Back Bar is seamlessly designed just for you. Whether you are looking to celebrate a birthday, engagement, hens party, or just a get together with friends, Back Bar’s function rooms offer two of the most unique and stylish function rooms Melbourne has to offer.

We have two function rooms available. The Red Lounge with a capacity 60 guests and the larger Gold Lounge with a capacity for 110 guests. Both function rooms have a fully stocked cocktail bar, are air-conditioned and have their own bathroom facilities. Both rooms are licensed until 3am Thursday to Saturday (or on the eve of a public holiday) and until 1am other days.

Choose to hire one of our function rooms privately for your celebration, or simply book in with a guest list, we offer a number of options for hosting your event.

Private hire of our function rooms includes security on the front door as well as use of all of the room’s facilities. Bring your own music along on an iPod which can plug directly into our sound system, or arrange for a Dj to play with a complete set of Dj equipment available for use. You may also like to have a slide show of photos playing in the background with two TV screens located in each of our function rooms. There is also a microphone available for speeches.

We offer an extensive canape menu to cater for your function’s food requirements, whilst you are welcome to bring your own celebration cake along.
